Mark Lahn joined Hull & Hull LLP as an associate in 2022. Before joining the firm, Mark practiced in civil/estate litigation, labour/employment and estate planning.
Mark’s practice includes all aspects of estates and trust litigation, including will challenges, dependant’s support claims, accounting disputes, guardianship applications, and trust claims. He also assists clients with estate administration, including complex administration requiring court intervention. Mark regularly appears before the Estates List in Toronto and has assisted the partners of the firm with matters heard at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and in advocacy at the Supreme Court of Canada.
Mark brings a unique background of experience to his practice after spending over 10 years in the technology and marketing sectors. During this time, Mark worked closely with the world’s largest technology firms to help them navigate the complex regulatory frameworks governing network communications.
Mark received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Toronto Metropolitan University as well as a diploma in Paralegal Studies from Seneca College with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Mark received his J.D. with first class standing from Lakehead University. He has recently completed his Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in leadership from Dalhousie University. Mark combines his technical expertise, business acumen, and practical approach to problem-solving to help his clients navigate an ever-changing legal landscape.
Outside of the office, Mark enjoys travelling to new areas of the world, working on DIY home improvement projects, and spending time exploring the city with his partner and two dogs, Suzy and Thunder.
