Diana McBey

Diana joined Hull & Hull as an Associate in 2022. She articled with a full-service business law firm, where she gained experience in wills and estates, corporate commercial law, and litigation. Prior to articling, Diana worked for two summers as a law student with a Toronto boutique litigation firm.

Diana earned her J.D. from Queen’s Law School. She graduated from Queen’s University with a B.A. Honours with Distinction, majoring in History.

During law school, Diana volunteered as a caseworker for Queen’s Legal Aid assisting Kingston residents, and for the Queen’s Business Law Clinic providing legal services to local organizations. She co-chaired the Queen’s Indigenous Law Student Alliance in 3L. Diana received the Women’s Law Association of Ontario 2019 Advocacy Award, the 2021 Insolvency Institute of Canada Award (Queen’s), and prizes for the highest mark in the Land Transactions and Insolvency and Restructuring courses.

Diana received the Medal of the Maple from Scouts Canada for which she served as a National Youth Spokesperson, and the UK’s International Princess Diana Award for leadership in social action. Diana is learning Gaelic, and enjoys medieval history, gardening, and camping.
