Ontario Bar Association Distinguished Service Award

The Canadian Bar Association is a professional, voluntary organization that was formed in 1896, and incorporated by a Special Act of Parliament on April 15, 1921.

The Ontario Branch has been in existence since 1907 and was incorporated on April 22, 1985.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes exceptional career contributions and or career achievements by members of the Ontario Bar Association (OBA):

To the legal profession in Ontario;

Or to jurisprudence in Ontario or Canada;

Or to the law or development of the law in Ontario;

Or a significant law-related benefit to the residents of Ontario.

The OBA Award Gala is being held today, June 9, 2022, at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto.

Ian Hull is accepting his award this evening, adding to a long list of other achievements and well-deserved recognition.
