
Sumit joined Hull & Hull LLP as an associate in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Senior Estate Advisor at one of Canada’s leading banks, where he gained extensive experience in estate handling procedures and administrations from a banking perspective. Sumit is a Bravo Award recipient, recognized for his outstanding contributions in the financial sector.
Sumit was called to the Ontario Bar in March of 2024. He is a dual-qualified lawyer with significant experience in commercial and insolvency litigation, having worked with top law firms in India. He holds a BALL.B (Hons) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, and a Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from the Indian Institute of Law, New Delhi.
Sumit is a member of the Toronto Lawyers Association and is fluent in English and Hindi, with a working understanding of Punjabi.
Outside of his legal career, Sumit is passionate about soccer and is a dedicated Chelsea FC supporter.
