Mehtab joined Hull & Hull LLP as an Associate in 2026, following her call to the bar.
Prior to joining the firm, Mehtab articled with the Ministry of the Attorney General at the Office of the Children’s Lawyer, where she gained experience in estate and guardianship matters, trusts, child protection, civil litigation, and family law. During her articles, she worked on matters involving passings of accounts, dependant support claims, court approvals of settlements involving minors, and issues relating to estate administration. She has experience drafting pleadings, motion records, and facta, and representing clients in child protection proceedings before the Ontario Court of Justice.
Mehtab also spent time with the Crown Law Office – Civil, where she gained experience in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including Indigenous law, administrative law, bankruptcy and insolvency, and corporate and commercial law. She also completed a judicial internship at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice with the Honourable Justice Mario D. Faieta.
Mehtab holds a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a specialization in Legal Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she was a recipient of the Dean’s Honour Roll.
In her spare time, Mehtab enjoys trying new restaurants, swimming and spending time with her dog.
