Idris B. Salami joined the firm as an Associate following his call to the Ontario Bar in 2026. He is also called to the Nigerian Bar and brings a depth of litigation experience across multiple jurisdictions.
Idris previously worked as an Estate Registrar with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. Idris also worked in a prominent full-service law firm in Hamilton, where his work was concentrated in estates matters, gaining hands-on experience across a broad and often complex range of files. His work spanned estate administration, probate, and related matters, and involved navigating the legal, procedural, and practical issues that arise while managing and advancing estate files.
In Nigeria, Idris maintained a broad civil and commercial litigation practice, appearing before courts at various levels and handling a wide range of disputes, including estate and contested wills matters.
His practice focuses on estate litigation, estate administration, probate matters and civil litigation.
Outside the office, Idris is an avid soccer fan and enjoys reading beyond the law.
